This special release comes with a flexi record, a paper record player and the hand-numbered typographic Zine. Guests will be able to purchase this package of \u201cBoogaloo Mutante\u201d RfaS Issue #3 throughout the night and pre-order now at www.rantsfromastranger.com.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Dj Kyra Caruso will create the right vibe to enjoy the artwork and installation with a soulful set.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cBoogaloo Mutante\u201d mp3 will be available for free download at www.mpeach.bandcamp.com starting April 24th.<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">About Boogaloo Mutante<\/h4>\n<p align=\"left\">Boogaloo Mutante is MPEACH\u2019S new song produced in collaboration with Sunsplash. For this single release Mpeach partnered up with Rants from a Stranger in a collaborative effort \u00a0to bring you this special release of a \u00a0Zine \/ Single Flexi postcard combo. She draws from a wide variety of electronic sounds and musical inspirations making for a dynamic sound that stands all on its own.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Her music and audiovisual art intersect and compliment each other, they are profoundly impacted by individual cultural roots while reconstructed to reflect her global internet-age upbringing. Mpeach is part of Dutty Artz roster of artists, and has completed installations at Bric Contemporary Art (Brooklyn, NY), One Art Space (New York, NY) and collaborated with the Joshua Light Show, \u00a0Latin Grammy Award Winner Los Amigos Invisibles and Tropical Bass party Que Bajo? As a member of the now disbanded cult electronic band Todosantos she\u2019s opened for headlining acts such as M.I.A and the Beastie Boys, as well as performed at SXSW, Pop Montreal and CMJ festival.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\">Rants from a Stranger<\/h3>\n<p align=\"left\">Influenced by print, zines and comic books, comes this short publication that experiments with the idea of a \u2018Graphic Novel\u2019 without the presence of illustrated characters and relying solely on hand-lettering. Rants from a Stranger is a series of \u2018Typographic Novels\u2019 hand-lettered and written by Isabel Urbina while in Brooklyn, NY and Caracas, Venezuela.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\">Isabel Urbina Pena \/ Rants from a Stranger<\/h3>\n<p align=\"left\">Isabel Urbina Pe\u00f1a a New York born, Venezuelan bred designer at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.randomhouse.com\/\"> Random House<\/a> in New York City. She has worked at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgpartnersllc.com\/\"> C&amp;G Partners LLC<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amnh.org\/\"> American Museum of Natural History<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk\/museums\/museum-profile\/\/3232.html\"> Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo de Caracas<\/a> and for clients like<a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/\"> Variety<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.campari.com\/\"> Campari<\/a> &amp;<a href=\"http:\/\/dinerjournal.com\/\"> Diner Journal<\/a>. In 2012, she graduated from the Cooper Union&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/coopertype.org\/\"> Cooper Type<\/a> Extended program in Typeface Design. Her original typeface<a href=\"http:\/\/coopertype2012.com\/galea\"> Galea<\/a> was awarded an honorable mention by the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpba.com\/\"> Fine Press Book Association<\/a> (FBPA) and is featured in the book<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Playing-Type-experiments-typographic-principles\/dp\/1592538177\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1392662563&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=Playing+with+Type%3A+50+Experiment\"> Playing with Type: 50 Experiments<\/a> by Rockport Press.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\">Kyra Caruso<\/h3>\n<p align=\"left\">For a love of music and the arts, Austro-Mexican Kyra Caruso came to the United States in 2005 to live her dream in one of the world\u2019s most inspiring cities \u2013 New York.
