This Privacy Policy explains how The Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA) may collect, use and protect information submitted through this campaign website for the Caracas Earthquakes Artists Relief Program.

This website is intended to provide information about the program, receive donation-interest records, artist assistance requests, artwork donation proposals and institutional partnership inquiries.

• Program-related information submitted by applicants, donors, artists, collectors or institutional partners.
• Donation-intent information, including intended amount, selected donation channel, campaign source, QR/UTM parameters and internal campaign reference.

How information is used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, review assistance requests, register donation-interest records, support reconciliation and reporting, coordinate artwork donations or partnerships, improve campaign communication and maintain responsible program administration.

Donation records

The website records donation intent before the user continues to PayPal, Zelle, wire transfer or another approved donation method. Final payment confirmation remains subject to VAEA’s payment processors, banking records and internal reconciliation.

Form processing

Forms are processed using Formspree. Submitted information may be stored in Formspree and delivered by email to authorized campaign contacts for operational follow-up.

Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode. Analytics storage is denied by default and is updated only when a visitor accepts analytics cookies. Visitors may continue with necessary cookies only.

Sharing

VAEA does not sell personal information collected through this campaign website. Information may be shared with authorized VAEA team members, service providers, fiscal/administrative support, legal or compliance advisors, or institutional partners when necessary to operate the program and respond to requests.

Retention

Information may be retained for as long as necessary for program administration, donor follow-up, reconciliation, reporting, compliance, legal obligations and institutional recordkeeping.
