On June 13th 1990 VAEA was born in New York in a founding ceremony at The Royalton Hotel hosted by our Chairman/Founder @alicorderocasal We celebrate 33 years of contribution to the arts so many exhibitions performances and grants to support artists and the arts with now three venues under our umbrella our venezuelan museums Museo de Arte Acarigua Araure @museoaaa and the new jewel Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Guanare @macguanare and our future headquarters VAEA New Rochelle Art Center #vaaenr #vaeanewrochelle #museums #venezuelamuseums for VAEA the best is yet to come!
About VAEA
VAEA was founded on June 13th 1990 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Jose Antonio Paez in Acarigua, Venezuela. Since its beginnings, VAEA has sponsored several cultural events in Venezuela and the United States. Our two countries have had a longstanding tradition of friendship for more than 200 years and VAEA’s commitment is to promote programs that will continue this tradition for future generations.
VAEA is a New York Based Public Charity under section 501 (c) 3.
VAEA will conduct its mission from the new venue VAEA New Rochelle Art Center, focusing in education through the arts for the new generation of Westchester County, New York, USA.
