Support a specific program
Grants: VAEA Grants provide funds directly to artists and non for profit organization of both Venezuela and USA. To learn about our past VAEA Grants click here.
Programa Padrino: By becoming a “Padrino” and contributing $500 you will ensure that an artists in need working in Venezuela receives a monthly stipend for a period of one year to purchase art supplies, pay for rental of equipment, studio space or any necessary expense associated with the creation of new artwork.
VAEA Movie Nights: With this program VAEA is showcasing the best of Venezuelan Cinema with a monthly screening in New York, we are hoping to expand this program by hosting screenings of independent North American Cinema in Venezuela.
VAEA Literature: VAEA’s Literature program consists of two times of events, book readings to promote new publications and authors and interesting panel discussions.
5×5: VAEA’s signature bi-national traveling exhibition showcases the work of five artists from Venezuela and five artists for The United States of America, a guest curator selects the artists and the exhibition along the with the artists travel to both countries.
El Museo y la Escuela: The Museum and School program, currently operating with our partner El Museo de Arte Acarigua-Araure is currently serving over 100 children a month for special cultural activities such as guided visits, workshops and concerts.
VAEA Residency: We are currently raising funds to begin this initiative. VAEA will offer 4 residencies a year, initially two artists from Venezuela will travel to The United States for a period of up to six weeks followed by two North American artists who will travel to Venezuela.
VAEA’s Endowment Campaign: An Endowment offers non for profit organizations stability, security and ensures the continuation of their philanthropic mission. Please support this campaign and help ensure VAEA’s continued operations for years to come.
