VAEA Residency 2018-03-15T00:51:36+00:00

VAEA’s bi-national initiatives have supported the work of many artists throughout the years and with this program we aim to take this support even further by offering artists the opportunity to travel to produce new work and meet new and stimulating people.

We believe being able to travel and work in a different environment will help artists in critical stages of their careers to take their work to the next level as well as achieve international exposure, opening up a whole world of opportunities.

Artists participating in VAEA’s Residency Program are sponsored by a Padrino, from VAEA Grants. VAEA’s Artists-in-Residency program is currently operating in partnership with R.A.T. Residency Program in Mexico City, Mexico; Stiftung Starke Foundation in Berlin, Germany and coming soon Fountainhead Residency in Miami, FL.
