VAEA is committed to supporting initiatives that foster education and appreciation of both visual and performing arts.
In this occasion we are launching a fundraising initiative to support the School of Art and Music at the Museo de Arte Acarigua-Araure.
The school was founded in 2011 and has daily classes to over 45 students from underprivileged backgrounds at a minimum cost of $20 a month. The students get to learn visual arts and music in a safe environment.This initiative has had great impact on the children, most of whom had never been in contact with musical instruments let alone learn how to play them.
In this opportunity we seek to raise $5000,00 to purchase dearly needed musical instruments.
Your contribution will have and immediate and direct impact on this program and the lives of the children that attend the School of Art and Music.
