On Thursday December 10, all the strength, tradition and modernity of the new sound of Venezuelan music will mix for the first time to celebrate the Venezuelan Parrandón. The party will be held at Drom, a multicultural space in New York City, which hosts for the first time a Venezuelan music event, where the traditional Gaitas and Christmas carols will mark the festive spirit of the season.
Christmas is a special time of year when the family gathers. In an effort to celebrate the holidays together and reunite the Venezuelan diaspora abroad, maintaining customs and traditions, the Parranda will also take place in Madrid and Miami, cities that joined the circuit Guataca Nights during 2015.
This show will take viewers to the core of Venezuelan Christmas under the musical direction of producer and singer MV Caldera and with the participation of musicians Robert Quintero (percussion), Chuito Quintero (drums), Baden Goyo (cuatro), Gabriel Chakarji (piano), Carlos Mena (bass), Leo Gruber (vocals), José Manuel Da Silva (vocals), MV Caldera (vocals) and Gregorio Vegas (vocals) as special guest.
