Ali Cordero Casal, Founder Chairman of The Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA), participated as a panel member in: A Creative and Cultural Industries Symposium –The Future of Latin American Caribbean & South Florida Economies– The Orange Economy: An Infinite Opportunity, organized by The Broward County Florida Cultural Division.

Creative and Cultural Industries Symposium Event

May 2014: The Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA), is pleased to announce that Mr. Ali Cordero Casal, VAEA’s Founder and Chairman has been invited by the Cultural Division of the City of Ft Lauderdale to participate as a panel member in: A Creative and Cultural Industries Symposium -–The Future of Latin American Caribbean, & South Florida Economies – The orange Economy: An Infinite Opportunity.

The symposium, organized by Broward County Florida Cultural Division, will take place Friday, May 9, 2014 at 9:00AM – 12Noon at the Museum of Art – Fort Lauderdale Horvitz Auditorium.

The panel will be comprised of members from American University’s Center for Latin American & Latino Studies (CLALS), together with its counterparts at the IDB’s Culture, Creativity, and Solidarity Affairs Division and local business leaders.

The Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts was founded on June 13, 1990 in New York with the mission of strengthening the ties of friendship between the United States of America and Venezuela through bi-national cultural and social programs.
