Arnold Newman and his Contemporaries
Visual Arts Exhibition
A mayor exhibit organized by our institution that took place at The Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas in 1993. During his extensive career, Arnold Newman portrayed many of the great artists of the twentieth century. Many of those artists are part of the permanent collection of The Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Caracas. VAEA promoted this exhibition in which Newman’s portrait of the artists and their work were exhibit simultaneously. Among the artists were Picasso, George Segal, Georgia O’Keefe, Francis Bacon, George Braque, and Andy Warhol.
