Bio & Artist Statement

Educational Background

Universidad Central del Este (UCE), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, B.A. Architecture
Universidad Francisco Miranda, Coro, Venezuela, M.A. Tourism Design

Influenced by his background as an architect, he began to develop his own artistic language through the use of color as his principal element in his compositions.  Ellsworth Kelly, Camille Graesser, Blinky Palermo and Jacob Agam all represent his direction to follow; developing his color spectrum work with simple geometric elements.  “My work is based on investigation of color, geometric forms and the integration of light and space in his paintings and sculptures.”
