The story of Diego, a young and successful photographer that lives in the glamorous world of fashion, shallowness and excess. A tragic accident turns his world around; his partner is now in a coma. Unexpectedly, and right at this terrible time, Diego must take care of his son, Armando. Now, both of them have to adapt to each other; Armando to the unknown, homosexual world of his father, and Diego to the closed attitude of his teenage son.

 

 

 

About the Director…

Miguel Ferrari is an actor and director, known for My Straight Son (2012), Cortos Interruptus (2011) and Todo lo que sube (2008).

Actor graduate Training Institute for Dramatic Arts and Cum- Laude Bachelor in Theatre IUDET in Caracas. He studied film directing at SEVENTH ARS, Spain .

Among his film credits the role of Q is highlighted in ” The dye of Fame ” for which he won the award for Best Supporting Actor Film Festival Merida (2,008 ), the Municipal Film Award ( 2008 ) and Best Character Award at the Festival of FESTDIV Diversity ( 2011 ) . Additionally he has participated in works such as ” Lonely Boy ” (César Bolívar , 1998) , for which he received the Municipal Film Award 1999 for Best Actor, “Francisco de Miranda” ( Diego Rísquez , 2005), ” Pure Joyitas ” (Henry Rivero and Cesar Oropeza, 2007), ” Dogs Hearts ” (Carmen La Roche , 2008) and ” Last Body” (Carlos Daniel Malavé , 2011) , plus several short films and TV movies .

He was also awarded for the screenplay of his first short film as director, ” What goes up ,” for which he received the Municipal Film Award for Best Screenplay for Short Film ( 2008 ) and the Prize of the National Film Festival Margarita 2,008 ( Mention special ) .

In 2012 he released his debut , ” Blue and Not So Pink ” , whose script participated in the Official Selection Competition unpublished scripts of the 31st Havana Film Festival , and was Screenplay finalist IV Screenplay Competition City Segovia – Mapfre Foundation.
